INSPIRE MANAGEMENT – Making the Most of You and Your Team

Victim Support Scotland's 'Inspire Management' training modules provides both new and established Managers with up-to-date skills and knowledge, coupled with tried and tested methods to get the best from themselves and their staff.

Benefits of the Inspire Modules include –

• Short Individual modules ranging from 2 – 3 hours sessions, to fit in with Managers workloads.
• Flexible and suitable for both new and existing Managers
• Fully interactive, high impact, effective and fun


Module – Teams

This module provides the under-pinning knowledge and practical support on getting the best from your team, keeping your team together and promoting buy – in to your team’s shared goal.


Module – Managing Change

This module examines a number of common themes that will ensure that the change process stands the greatest chance of success and help you to think more creatively about how to manage the change while avoiding common pitfalls.


Module – Dealing with Difficult People

This practical interactive module equips you with skills to deal effectively with people in all situations. See things through their eyes and have the tools to influence them.


Module – Recruitment Selection

Appoint the right person to the right job and you can transform an everyday HR process into a chance to improve your organisations performance by improving the quality of the people you manage.


Module – Leadership

Good leaders are made not born. To inspire and innovate teams, there are certain things leaders must be, know and do. These do not come naturally, but are acquired through learning and practice. Effective leadership is about skills and behaviour.

This module will give you an insight into what these skills are and how to get the maximum impact from using them.


Module – Problem Solving

All Managers will encounter challenges and those who can employ the fundamentals of problem solving are best equipped to resolve the problem. By learning the basics of problem solving, Managers will worry less and focus more on the solutions.

Module – Communication

Effective Communication skills are essential for productive working. Understanding the different ways we communicate, improve active listening skills; ability to cope with behavioural problems will improve day-to-day communications with staff/clients.

 
Module – Presentation Skills
Being a competent and effective presenter is one of the most important skills for a Manager in today’s environment. We have all seen what happens during a poor presentation, but with this module, it does not have to be like that any more.
