  • Training for Volunteers
We provide support, advice, guidance and ongoing training for all our volunteers.

All our volunteers undergo a basic foundation training course and internal accreditation.

Some go on to undertake advanced training in, for example, supporting people affected by murder.

While undergoing the training, there is continuous assessment and feedback.

All volunteers undergo an Enhanced Disclosure Check and references are taken up as part of our safer recruitment, to protect our clients. If you have a criminal record, we won’t necessarily exclude you. We make individual assessments in every case.
