  • What Does VOYCE do?
  • helps you understand the justice system that is involved when young people offend.
  • helps you sort out practical things after the crime; like helping you get a personal alarm, who to approach for safety advice for your home, help you with criminal injuries compensation
  • listen to how you felt about the crime and the impact it had on you and your family
  • suggest ways to help you and your family cope with what has happened.
  • provide you with the opportunity to have your voice heard. If you wish you can tell the young person how the crime affected you and you’re your family without having to face them. (This involves Voyce liaising with any worker who might be involved with the young person to help them look at their behaviour.)
  • helps you access other support/advice organisations
  • be there for you!
