Policy & Research

Policy work constitutes a key role in Victim Support Scotland’s efforts to effect change in external policy, practice and public opinion for the benefit of victims of crime, their families and witnesses.

The team works in partnership with a range of organisations, civil servants and policy makers as well as conducting research, responding to government consultation papers and organising conferences on major issues.

In this section you can browse through consultations, briefings and policy research that Victim Support Scotland sends out to the Scottish Government, local authorities and other policy-forming groups and committees.
