Corporate Support

Businesses can offer corporate support in many different ways, contributing to the wider community in which they operate and as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (‘CSR’) programme. Examples of corporate support include:

  • Financial donations
  • Value in kind (providing knowledge and expertise to assist Victim Support Scotland)
  • Encouraging employees to volunteer for Victim Support Scotland and actively supporting this through an Employer Supported Volunteering (‘ESV’) scheme
  • Implementing a payroll giving scheme. Such schemes are quick and easy to set-up and administer and are a great way to demonstrate commitment to the causes that employees care about. You can find more information about setting-up a payroll giving scheme here.

Services for Employers

If you operate a business where your employees deal with members of the public and have the potential to experience threats, abuse or violence in the course of their work, Victim Support Scotland has particular relevance to you:

  • Our services deliver measurable economic benefit, supporting victims of crime and decreasing periods of absence following an incident
  • Our workplace training can provide relevant employees with the skills to assist colleagues who have been the subject of threats, abuse or violence
